25 Mar The Palomar
Love, love, love this place: for its shambolic good mood, its dancefloor feeling, its beautiful decor and its solar dishes. This winning spot gives you two options: either dine at the bar facing the chefs in action, or in the back room at one of the “first date” tables.
Tongues loosen after a few sips of Israeli wine, while diners nibble on nishnush and must-eat kubaneh soft bread. Then the parade of sharing plates brings lovebirds closer: spicy Moroccan oysters; melting aubergine on the Josper grill; rich pork and dried apricots tagine… A rose malabi, coconut meringue and pistachio crush to seal the deal: it’s a match.
