23 Apr The Good Egg Soho
After hatching in Stokey, this trendy egg fathered by Joel Braham, Alex Coppard and Oded Mizrachi did in again in Soho on a grander scale: an airy café right in foodie Kingly Court, less laid-back but as stylish as its older brother (blush pink, light blue and bright wood).
The seasonal menu under Tel-Aviv influence features the likes of jolly pittas, zaatar galore, cracking hummus and glorious shakshuka. Next up, the famous house-cured-and-smoked short-rib pastrami and tahini-roasted cauliflower. Leave some room for Oded’s devilishly gooey chocolate babka and wash it all down with natural wines or charming cocktails.
