Since 2013, the former Shoreditch town hall with its blue-tiled open kitchen has been the stage of a modern British gastronomic gig you need to pre-book for.
Chef Isaac McHale (ex-Noma, Ledbury, Young Turks) serves up a string of his greatest hits: langoustine claw, jelly and grilled cream; whole roast Challans duck in three services (special mention to the consommé served in a warm glass of 1908 d’Oliveiras Madeira…); deliciously refreshing blood orange, sheep’s milk yogurt and wild fennel granita… And brace yourself, the tasting menu is paired with nine generous glasses! Spot-on service, relaxed yet super sharp.
