22 Mar Rochelle Canteen
Don’t panic! This canteen, tucked away in a former school courtyard and founded by Margot Henderson and Melanie Arnold, is miles away from your worst school dinner memories. It’s pretty much the opposite!
Those in the know meet up by the converted bike shed (white, pale wood, bay window), lingering in the sunny courtyard during summer, savouring modern British delicacies by Euan Farmer (ex-St. John) : morning porridge; lamb’s heart, chicory and pickled walnuts; hake, braised fennel and green sauce; ginger loaf, vanilla ice cream and butterscotch for lunch and dinner. Let’s go back to school, shall we?
