16 Apr Pique-Nique
Say goodbye to the abandoned garden shed, the team behind excellent nearby Casse-Croûte has transformed it into an ace café-rôtisserie where you can idle about from morning coffee to nightcap.
Take a seat along the bleaming marble bar and bite into the soft and cheesy croque-monsieur made with focaccia bread; or the seriously good pâté en croûte when just popping in. Otherwise linger at the communal table around smashing little plates like the whole artichoke or the cuttlefish carbo, before digging into the gigantic veal t-bone and the Espelette pepper French fries. Wash it all down with interesting, mainly Frenchie bottles.
Kids menu: £10
Wine: glass from £4, bottle from £24
