05 Apr Noble Rot Wine Bar
Noble Rot is the personification of British wit and quirk: the illustrated magazine shaking up the wine world took over an antique wine bar in 2015. Cheers to that!
Enter the bright bar area, then the wide candlelit dining room where their cover illustrations perk up the hushed atmosphere. The “Franglais” menu is courtesy of Paul Weaver x The Sportsman (Michelin-starred gastropub): snails, Scottish girolles & Alsace bacon; Lincolnshire smoked eel, Bramley apple and soda bread; the halibut famously braised in oxidised rare wine; chocolate mousse cake… Make sure you tinker with the bottomless list of unique wines.
