This colourful Southern Mediterranean-influenced cuisine by Samuel and Samantha Clark has enchanted the cobbled alley of Exmouth Market for the last 20 years. We never get tired of the laid-back decor (grass green wall, Moroccan cushions), cool terrace and open kitchen.
Their dishes are a melting pot: tasty tomatoes, dukkah and goat curd toast, salmorejo with fried aubergine and crispy mojama (cured tuna)… Not to mention the fire-cooked classics like the wood roasted chicken with caramelised apples, morcilla and spinach, before a soothing rosewater and cardamom ice cream. Drinkswise, there is a selection of Sherries and gorgeous Iberian bottles.
