22 Nov Kym’s
In the shade of the blooming cherry tree, under the gleaming Bloomberg Arcade (home to Koya City), Andrew Wong leaves the South bank and his cult dumplings to open his second address/family tribute where he delves into the ancestral Chinese art of rotisserie, shimmering velvet and brass.
Among the plates to share: smashing lacquered duck pancakes to delicately paint in plum with the tip of a calligraphy brush; soft fried aubergines, soy caramel, crunchy peanuts and sesame; moist poached chicken ginger and soy; Uighur-style fries… To sweeten the whole thing, go for the plump pineapple and custard bun.
Small plates: £3-8
