After waiting in line in the heart of bustling Soho, noodle slurpers gather round the counter of this tiny Japanese canteen led by chef Shuko Oda, to peacefully enjoy some of the best udon in London, hot or cold (shrimp tempura, pork and miso, duck …), or some tasty donburi.
But the real insiders know that the morning is the real deal, from their version of the full English breakfast (fried egg, bacon and shiitake) to the smoked haddock, poached egg and curry Kedgeree porridge. Match it with a Kirin beer or a Kawatsuru sake for a full hangover recovery.
