Bar Douro London Bridge
After scouting the country extensively, Maxwell Churchill Graham (from a big wine and port producers family) and chef Tiago Santos set their vision of Portugal in the Flat Iron Square, next door to Where The Pancakes Are.
Sit surrounded by azulejos, in the window or along the open kitchen. Petiscos are a nice way to start: game croquettes, lamb rolls... Then the small plates are more or less successful, but a few are defo worth it: melting octopus and sweet potato, smooth whole grilled mackerel, Monte da Vinha cheese and all-time classic pasteis de nata with a cinnamon twist. Gradually pair it with a glass of Minho vinho verde, then Ataide Semedo de Barraida, before electing one a Churchill Port.
