Frenchie Covent Garden

Star chef of the rue du Nil empire in Paris Greg Marchand, the Frenchie who earned his nickname from ex-boss Jamie Oliver, opened his first London outpost in 2016. This Mad Men style neo-brasserie is a stone’s throw away from the ROH.

The perfect setting to sip on a sophisticated cocktail, while nibbling on their famous bacon scone. Next is a taste of the best of British produce, with a skillful cosmopolitan tweak: Cornish scallops carpaccio, olive crumble, tomato and smoked Greek yoghurt; Elwy Valley lamb, merguez, cauliflower, apricots, verbena and vadouvan… And to wrap it up, the classic banoffee with a nutmeg and caramelised pecan twist.
