Brawn

This terroir-based neo-bistro is the perfect hideaway for gazing at the packed Columbia Flower Market from behind the glass. Two rooms / two vibes, with a stripped-down, wino touch (illustrated posters, vineyard pictures, cheeky wine labels): the first room is bathed in light, while the second is next to the kitchen, where Ed Wilson rustles up and sends off his great, simple seasonal plates.

Flirting with lovely natural wines (Matassa, Cantina Giardino…): mussels, marinated peppers and Calabrian chilli, bavette with grilled radicchio, gorgonzola and walnuts, followed by a fig leaf panna cotta.

Brawn

Il fait bon observer le Columbia Flower Market blindé depuis la baie vitrée de ce néo-bistrot terroiriste. Deux salles / deux ambiances, à la déco vineuse et gouailleuse (affiches illustrées, photos de vignobles, bouteilles aux étiquettes impertinentes) : la première baignée de lumière, la seconde le nez dans la cuisine, d’où Ed Wilson envoie des assiettes de saison simples et justes.

Les moules aux poivrons marinés et piment de Calabre, la bavette, trévise grillée, gorgonzola et noix ou encore la panna cotta feuille de figuier et mûre flirtent ici avec de jolies quilles natures (Matassa, Cantina Giardino…).
