16 Dec Barrafina Drury Lane
So yes, on paper it’s a pain, queuing for hours or agreeing to dine at 5.30pm, all for a stool at the bar… But trust us, it’s worth the hassle. Barrafina has perfected the tapas bar magic formula. It’s great whether you pop in for a quick drink and tapas para picar, or sit at the bar for a full feast.
The parent spot has expanded once again in 2015, this time with a private dining option. Making their way to you at the gleaming marble counter are the likes of: pan con tomate; fondant tuna-sesame tartare; oozing tortilla; ace stuffed courgette flowers; sweet grilled pluma Iberica and confit potatoes. To enjoy perched on the red leather stools, while sipping on unfiltered house manzanilla or Pares Balta Cava Brut, por favor.
