Widely reknown for his laid-back cafés, spicing up the life of Londoners since 2002, star chef Yotam Ottolenghi has given his Nopi spot a much more elegant touch, all in white and gold (downstairs, the guest table overlooks the open kitchen).

Still, you’ll find his super inventive cuisine, but a bit more sophisticated. Highlight on the fantastic breakfast shakshuka and the - mostly vegetarian - little plates to share: burrata, blood orange, coriander seeds and lavender honey, roasted aubergine, almond yoghurt and pickled chilli, beef sirloin, fennel, truffle and graviera… All going well with a cheeky glass of 2011 La Stoppa orange wine from Emilia Romagna.
